The 3rd Annual Taste of East O’ahu takes place this Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Calvary By The Sea. Enjoy delicious selections from nine of East Oahu’s best restaurants and shops along with 40 different wines and much more. The event benefits the Angel Network, Montessori School and a Calvary By The Sea Youth group.

The event will feature five Hale Aina Award-winning restaurants:

  • 3660 On The Rise
  • Assaggio’s
  • BluWater Grill
  • Chai’s Island Bistro
  • Michel’s at the Colony Surf

Other amazing restaurants and shops participating in the event include: Top of Waikiki, Maile’s Thai Bistro, Memoirs Hawaii and Hokulani Bakery.

The event also features wine tasting by HASR Wine Co. and a variety of beer selections;  and silent auction with local artwork.

Enjoy entertainment from Jon Osorio and Steve Brown, The Swingin’ Tradewinds, and Rosanna Perch & Dan Del Negro.

Tickets are available for $60.
VIP tables can be purchased for $1,200. VIP Oceanside tables include champagne reception at 5pm.

The annual Taste of East Oahu takes place on the Calvary By The Sea Church grounds at 5339 Kalanianaole Highway, Honolulu, HI.

The event beneficiaries are:
 

  • Angel Network – A charitable organization providing assistance for the homeless, elderly and hungry. Angel Network is the only food bank in East O’ahu.
  • Montessori Preschool – Funds will support the Montessori Preschool at Calvary By The Sea.
  • Youth of CBTS – Scholarships for “Summer Bible Camp” and expansion of the youth program.
