Surfing the Supsquatch in Makaha
|
Party wave in Makaha! The C4 Supsquatch Inflatable Raft is a whale of a paddleboard, but Todd Bradley, CEO and co-founder of local company C4 Waterman, says it’s actually easier to maneuver than a regular one. “You don’t have to steer,” he says. “All you got to do is stand up and paddle.” And even if you wipe out, the 16-foot-long, vinyl raft makes for a soft landing. The Subsquatch holds up to a dozen surfers, and it’s not even the biggest board Bradley makes: His Supszilla set the Guinness World Record at 33 paddlers. “Whether you’re a first timer or an accomplished waterman, everybody turns into little kids when they get on,” says Bradley.
