Hawai‘i International Film Festival has always been a proud supporter of independent and international cinema. And while its summer events have been cancelled, HIFF has found a new way to create human connection even while our state practices social distancing.

Launched just last Friday, April 3, HIFF@HOME gives movie fans the opportunity to catch up on some of HIFF’s previously screened short films—for free! These films, many of which are award winners, represent a broad spectrum of stories from Hawai‘i and across the Asia-Pacific Rim and can be streamed online for free at hiff.org. Keep checking back, as more short films will be added in the following weeks.

Even at home, you can turn a movie night into special quality time with loved ones. HIFF has partnered with local restaurants for its Dinner and a Movie Highlight and encourages all movie lovers to continue to support Hawai‘i businesses by ordering takeout.
