Hawai‘i International Film Festival has always been a proud supporter of independent and international cinema. And while its summer events have been cancelled, HIFF has found a new way to create human connection even while our state practices social distancing.

Launched just last Friday, April 3, HIFF@HOME gives movie fans the opportunity to catch up on some of HIFF’s previously screened short films—for free! These films, many of which are award winners, represent a broad spectrum of stories from Hawai‘i and across the Asia-Pacific Rim and can be streamed online for free at Keep checking back, as more short films will be added in the following weeks.

Even at home, you can turn a movie night into special quality time with loved ones. HIFF has partnered with local restaurants for its Dinner and a Movie Highlight and encourages all movie lovers to continue to support Hawai‘i businesses by ordering takeout.
