Sneak Peek: The New S.TORY Standards Orange Crush Collection

We can’t wait for this early-’90s-inspired collection.

Our beloved JTT.

All the Hanson boys. How could we choose?

Aladdin. (What? He’s a babe.)

There are tons of reasons we are crushing on the ’90s. But while some hotties of our affection have fizzled out (what in the world happened to JTT anyway?), here’s a blast from the past that will feel absolutely fresh today.

Take a sneak peek at the new S.TORY Standards collection, Orange Crush. Designer Sandra Tory, who started her brand for the not-so-ordinary girl in 2010, snagged inspo for the line from skate and urban street-wear style, as well as the aesthetic of the late ’80s and early ’90s. Think bold color-blocking, a Day-Glo palette and high-cut one-pieces for a playful, retro feel. We fell head over heels for Tory’s last collection, Sauvage, and you can expect a similar sexy, strappy vibe in this new set of styles, which plays on shape and cuts, with an extra dose of sultry, skin-baring negative space.

Lounge by the pool in a neon orange one-piece, with bubblegum pink straps running down the sides, or play the tease in a barely there pair of high-waisted bottoms. And the strapless gray one-piece, with orange accents and a cutout detail on the back, is sure to break some hearts.

Go ahead—swoon. We know, it’s a total dreamsicle.

The collection is scheduled to be available in August, but stay tuned to the S.TORY Standards website for a limited release of pieces. You can also find select S.TORY Standards pieces, from Orange Crush as well as past collections, at MORI in Ward Village.
