Eat
Grand Spam
What: Head down to the 11th Annual Waikiki Spam Jam to savor the many ways Spam can spice up a dish – like in Hula Grill Waikiki's Spam fried rice loco moco with Spam katsu and shiitake mushroom gravy (a.k.a. The Kanak Attack, right) or Hard Rock Cafe's Spam apple cobbler. Four city blocks will be shut down to accommodate 15 restaurants, two entertainment stages, merchandise tents and craft booths.
When: Saturday, 4-10 p.m.
Where: Kalakaua Ave. fronting Royal Hawaiian Center and Outrigger Waikiki Hotel.
Details: Free admission. Monetary and Spam can donations will be accepted for the Hawaii Foodbank. Click here for more information.
Eat
Stick a Pork in It
What: Pork enthusiasts are in heaven this weekend with tomorrow night's Eat the Street showcasing all things bacon. We can't wait to try Il Gelato's maple bacon gelato, Aloha Pops' chocolate caramel-dipped bacon fudge pops, Paul's Poppers' bacon mac and cheese poppers, and Baja Style Mexican Food's bacon nachos with beans and fresh salsa (watch the drool).
When: Tomorrow, 4-9 p.m.
Where: 555 South St.
Details: Click for full list of vendors and menu.
Shop
Show Time
What: Shop ki-ele's spring trunk show at Nordstrom this weekend for hammered necklaces, earrings, bangles and Aloha wire rings in sterling silver and 14K goldfill, plus new summer arrivals – personalized bangles and sea-themed macrame bracelets. You can also order a personalized necklace or bracelet in time for Mother's Day.
When: Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Where: Nordstrom, Ala Moana Center, Level 2 in Fashion Jewelry.
Shop

Shop
Baby Love
What: DVF and Gap Kids' new Explorers capsule collection went on sale this morning with too-cute-to-handle dresses, separates, swimwear, and onesies in fun, Crayola-colored geometric prints (we just checked – sales associates are putting it on the floor right now). We die for the baby wrap dresses, though bright skinny jeans, sun hats, and backpacks are also aww-inspiring.
Where: Gap stores and online.
Details: Prices top out at $50, available in infant, toddler and girls' sizes.

Dean Come True
What: First, it was H&M. Now, another store on our retail wishlist is coming to Hawaii. Gourmet grocery chain Dean & DeLuca announced plans to open its first Hawaii store in the Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach (details here and in HONOLULU Magazine's real estate blog here). The bad news? It's not scheduled to open until the building's completion, nearly three years from now.
