Silver Oak Wine Dinner
On Tuesday, November 3rd at 6pm, Mariposa at Neiman Marcus in Ala Moana Center will be featuring a vertical tasting of the Napa Valley Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon – 2004, 2003 & 2002 vintages, together with a four-course prix fixe dinner crafted by chef Marc Anthony Freiberg.
Nora Comee, Regional Sales Manager of Silver Oak Cellars will also be there to share stories of Silver Oak Cellars & their exceptional style.
A vertical wine tasting is a classic wine flight theme used to gain greater insight and depth of the winery and its style. It allows you to make comparisons from vintage to vintage to see if there are any differences by tasting the same wine from the same producer over a series of years.

Roasted Squab Breast – caponata, foie gras tortellini, lilikoi brown butter
Paired with the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
Petite Osso Buco – garam masala roasted pumpkin risotto, natural jus, orange-pistachio gremolata
Paired with the 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
Grilled Australian Lamb – Israeli cous cous “tagine”, herbed yogurt & blackberry vin cotto
Paired with the 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
Big Island Cocoa Nib Panna Cotta – Valrhona chocolate macaroons
Fresh Brewed Illy Coffee also available with the dinner. Menu is subject to market availability of products.
