Scenic Towers, an unusually popular choice

I didn’t intend to profile condos all week; it’s just how the market turned out with new listings. Fortunately, these are unusual choices.

Have you ever heard of Scenic Towers? If you’re a realtor, you have; if you’re not, it’s unlikely unless you’re actively looking at such property in Honolulu. It’s a secured, 20-story, older condo on Isenberg St. in Moiliili with one- and two-bedroom units. Due to its location, it scores a whopping 83 points on Walkscore.com.

Market insiders know that if priced correctly, the one-bedroom units sell immediately in Scenic Towers. Two-bedroom units are rarely available, so now that #17E is on the market, it’s a pretty hot property. (Click here for details.)

It’s not a remarkable place, but it’s a corner unit on a high floor and priced well. The interior living area is 725 square feet, and there’s a little 66-square-foot lanai for taking in the city and mountain views. The galley kitchen has lots of cabinets for storage, which is a must for condo living.

Bonus for condo dwellers: This unit comes with two covered parking stalls next to each other.

Check it out this Sunday, as it will be open from 2 to 5 p.m.
