We’re still daydreaming about the fashion magic of last November’s debut HONOLULU Fashion Week. Some of our favorite tastemakers, including Roberta Oaks and Issa ‘de Mar, shared the runway with gorgeous creations by Hawai‘i-born bigwigs such as Bliss Lau and Ari South. Local girl/top model Keke Lindgard killed it onstage with her legs-for-days and fierce strut. Designer Sig Zane’s iconic long-sleeve hoodies turned heads on and off the runways.

Swoon. We can’t wait to do it again.

That’s why we are already marking Nov. 20 through 22—we repeat, Nov. 20 through 22—on our calendars under “SUPER IMPORTANT, DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING ELSE.” And you’ll thank yourself for doing the same, because we are bringing it back big time for 2015, expanding our designer list, ramping up our itinerary and calling in the New York team that made last year’s event so epic.

Local-born Lynne Hanzawa O‘Neill, runway mastermind behind some top-caliber productions at New York Fashion Week, will return with her “aloha zen” and high-style eye to produce more can’t-miss fashion shows. (Remember last year’s “Live Aloha” and “Get Out!” hits?) Look for the latest and hottest in street-smart urban wear, contemporary tropical ensembles and, of course, sizzling swimwear. In other words: all the fashionable creations that make Hawai‘i designers a force to be reckoned with.

Last year’s event told the world Honolulu had arrived. This year, we’re making sure no one ever forgets it.

Nov. 20 through 22. Did you write it on your calendar yet? Go do it. We’ll wait.
