Writing a letter. Giving a hug. Sending flowers. Everyone has his or her own way of saying “mahalo.” But, L*Space’s tribute to the Hawaiian Islands has us re-thinking our (lame) “thanks a million” Post-it notes.

Aloha Paradise, L*Space’s new spring swimsuit collection that’s sold exclusively in local boutiques, honors the 50th State with a 10-piece lineup featuring high-waisted bottoms, strappy racer-back tops and a sporty Dakota one-piece.

“The people in Hawai‘i are very proud of their home, beaches and culture,” says Monica Wise, owner and designer of L* Space. “We’ve been represented by our local customers for decades and we wanted to give Hawai‘i something that truly felt like theirs, and theirs alone!”

The collection’s poppy print, inspired by vintage florals from the ‘70s, is reminiscent of carefree Hawaiian summer days with hibiscus flowers and palm fronds in strawberry red and sunflower yellow. In line with its retro vibe, the collection also offers the Mod, a long-sleeve, one-piece suit, perfect for those who want something cute but aren’t quite ready for bikini season—we’re dreading keto-ing too.
