It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
A beautiful day for a neighbor.
Hi Neighbor.
Today, we’re going to talk about fashion. Do you know the word fashion? Well, Mr. Rogers has been changing into the same zip up cardigan for years and it is getting a little worn down. I’ve gone shopping in the land of Make Believe but those modern studded items just don’t go with my sneakers.
Fortunately, we have some new friends nearby. In fact, the store’s name, Barrio, means neighborhood in Spanish and you will want it to be your neighbor.
Mr. Bradley Rhea was a buyer and stylist in Arizona who moved to Hawaii with suitcases of vintage clothes and a dream to share classic styles that still fit into modern wardrobes.
Let’s look through the shop. There are things for boys and girls: a Christian Dior blazer, a beach-glam 60s swimsuit, wingtip shoes, leather skirts and jackets, and quirky vintage aloha shirts most priced around twenty dollars. Mr. Rhea and Barrio co-owner Mr. Jonathan Saupe are still getting new finds from the mainland and the islands. So you can always discover something unique on the racks or the five-dollar bargain trunk because there's only one person in the world like you … and that's you, yourself!
Meaning we’ll all be back, when the day is new.
