If you ever want to confirm if President Barack Obama is returning to Hawai‘i for the holidays, just check on the available open houses in Kailua. This huge listing across from the Kailua Beach access in Obama’s vacation neighborhood is open this Sunday, because the Secret Service won’t allow it once he gets here.

It sounds inconvenient, but there's a certain cachet to knowing you’re in the president’s favorite part of town.
