Open house pick of the week: Ko Olina

No doubt many of you will be heading out to Ko Olina to check out the new Aulani Resort this weekend. If you’re there on Sunday, stop in to look at this home at the Golf Estates & Villas. (Click here for details.)

It was owned by the developer of Ko Olina, so you know it’s in a prime spot. It’s on the 10th hole feature, and even has a lagoon—a signature look for the community—within the property line. The best part about it, besides the aesthetics, is the fact that the association maintains it.

The property is 6,000 square feet, but as you can see in these photos, it looks much larger since it blends into the golf course. (I’m sure this makes for pretty awesome Easter egg hunts.)

The home was built in 2004, so it still looks quite new, and was remodeled in 2008 with various upgrades, like custom travertine flooring. It has three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and 2,124 square feet of living area. The panorama from the 850-square-foot lanai is pretty awesome, as well, with those vivid west coast sunsets and a clear view shot of the resort.

Actually, the resort is so close, you can probably get to Aulani faster by walking through the golf course than taking your car.

Happy house hunting!
