Before I talk about this week’s open-house pick, I should set it up with some background: The Peninsula at Hawai‘i Kai is a gated community with 69 nonwaterfront, single-family homes called Carriage Ways residences. Within this section of homes, there are three models, and “Plan 3” is the largest and most desirable of them.
