Trick or Treat at the Trump “Yelloween Party”

The Trump’s swanky Yelloween Party promises a night to remember. Get your pre-Halloween party fix with a costume contest, sets by DJ Dana Kruse and DJ Analog, as well as a performance by a zombie drum line. A portion of the proceeds will even be donated to community nonprofits. Reserve your bottle service now for the best seats in the house.

Zombie Dash Hawai‘i

Saturday, October 17

The walking dead are so last year. See if you can survive the running dead in Zombie Dash Hawai‘i’s unique 5K obstacle course. Run for your life to avoid sand traps, tires, potholes and, of course, plenty of zombies. If you decide you can’t beat them, join them, and sign up to volunteer as a zombie. Individual entry cost, $39, with the opportunity to create or join a team.

The WonderShow: Monster Mash

Saturday, October 17

He did the mash, he did the Monster Mash! Hawai‘i’s best burlesque artists, contortionists, pole dancers, acrobats and more will provide an unforgettable Halloween experience. The show starts at 10 p.m., but make sure to stay for midnight happy hour. We promise you won’t turn into a pumpkin. General admission tickets are $7.

Zombie Dating

Saturday, October 17

Not enough zombies showing up on your Tinder app? Just can’t seem to find the right mix of beauty and braaaains? Fear not, the Zombie Dating event is here. Presented as part of the Zombie Bar Crawl, the event will feature the Dead Head Dating Game and, if things go well, an Undead Wedding ceremony. Wristbands cost $15 and will get you into 13 bars.

Halloween Haunted House

If you outgrew the “Monster Mash,” you’re in luck. Fantasy House at The Republik will feature DJ BL3ND for a Halloween dance and costume party. Supporting DJs Baumer, Omnia and more will round out the night. Tickets cost $15, and the show starts at 8 p.m.

Nightmare on M Street

Are you a fan of Wes Craven films? Nightmare on M Street might be the place for you. This year, M is throwing it back to old-school thrillers; so don’t be surprised to see Freddy Kruger, Jason or Michael Meyers roaming around. The outdoor portion of the block party is free until midnight, and costume contest entrants can look forward to prizes that include a trip to Las Vegas. Keep the party going at the M until 4 a.m.

Hallowbaloo

No Halloween is complete without downtown’s Hallowbaloo. This year the event is expanding, with the Hallowbaloo Street Festival taking place at the Hawai‘i State Art Museum and surrounding streets. Enjoy music, art and food, and then catch a free trolley to Club Hallowbaloo. Purchase a $10 early bird wristband now because prices will increase.

Come to the dark side at The District. The new nightclub has teamed up with Ginza to give you one of the best Halloween parties this year. There will be no cover for The District between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m., and then you can continue the party at Ginza Nightclub until 4 a.m. If you are coming from the Hyatt Halloween party, bring your ticket stub for no cover. It’s not a Halloween party without a costume contest. Make sure your costume is on point because you can win $2,000 in prizes. May the force be with you.
