“The inspiration for our summer suits: lazy summer days where you just wake up, spend the day at the beach and just feel chill. They’re super comfy enough to wear all day, but safe enough to swim and surf in.”—Rona Bennett, owner/designer.

“This collection is a collaboration between Rona and I featuring Fighting Eel’s ribbed fabric and the new addition of linen to Ava Sky. I wanted to add linen this year and include a natural element to the line. Not just any linen, but one that was soft enough to maintain its shape and provide a no fuss look.”—Lan Chung, owner/designer.

“The group Tropical Punch evokes the excitement of summer. We’ve been through so much these past few months, I thought we could use a fun and vibrant collection. I was inspired by the vivid colors of a rainbow shave ice and July 4 fireworks. The poppy red and purple monstera leaves are bold and modern, while our other print includes graphic bursts with subtle floral accents. Each piece is very comfortable and versatile for the office or afternoon at the beach.”—Lynn Sakutori, owner/designer.

The collection will be released July 6, check alinehawaii.com for details.

DOLKII

“The ’90s was my childhood so during quarantine, when it felt like nothing but bad news was happening every day, I found myself facetiming with my sisters A LOT and reminiscing about memories from our childhood. Going back to those times of being a worry-free kid felt like my way to escape the present for five minutes. I designed our Summer Capsule because of all the nostalgic feelings I was having. We have three new designs coming end of summer, including these two, which will support the Women’s Fund of Hawai‘i nonprofit. I love the brightness of this palette and am so excited for our customers to see it come to life on our oversized tees!”—Shaiyanne Dar, owner/designer.

The collection will be released end of July, check dolkii.com for updates.
