New private event space at Formaggio

Formaggio Grill in Kailua has opened a private room for business meetings or intimate parties, named "The Gallery".

When the restaurant was opened in January of 2008, the management team envisioned Formaggio Grill as a community gathering spot and wanted to be able to welcome larger groups for lunch or dinner. When the opportunity presented itself, they opened a private room this year, to host special occasions or corporate functions.

The space can accommodate just about any idea and budget, for up to about 40 people. Some examples of recent gatherings include:

  • Bridal and baby showers
  • Corporate dinners and presentations
  • Martini/manicure night for military wives
  • Gentleman’s club sports night with widescreen TV and gourmet "man food"
  • Nintendo Wii tournaments
  • Boutique launch and trunk show
