New Pop-Up at Ala Moana Hotel Features Four of Our Favorite Local Designers

We’ve celebrated the collections of Allison Izu, Jana Lam, Ten Tomorrow and Misha Lam separately, never together. So, having all of these amazing women in one story (and under one roof) is cause for bustin’ out our happy dance.

“It all happened really fast,” recalls Izu. “The hotel needed to fill a space and the realtor who helped the four of us find our retail spots asked if we wanted to create a pop-up in there. I felt honored to even be asked and it was an easy yes for me because we’re all friends who support one another.”

“This was a one-time opportunity that I couldn’t turn down. How often do you get the chance to test out a marketplace, in a hotel nonetheless, with three other fantastic designers?” Lam says.

The spacious hub is packed with Allison Izu’s comfy work-to-weekend tops, pants and dresses in on-trend hues and prints; Ten Tomorrow’s breezy chill-life kaftans, tunics and A-line frocks; Jana Lam’s splashy tropical-inspired bags and pillows; and Misha Lam’s low-key luxe jewelry pieces starring lustrous metals, Tahitian pearls and iconic Hawai‘i designs. “Here, shoppers have all the ingredients to make one complete outfit from all local designers,” says Izu.

Ten Tomorrow

Besides the convenience (you’re probably at Ala Moana anyway) and plentiful parking (mall level by Macy’s), other reasons to shop the pop-up include the recent release of five new styles from Allison Izu and three new pieces from Ten Tomorrow, exclusive to the shop this week, and Misha Lam’s Edison freshwater pearl earrings and bracelets, which are only available at the store. The pop-up is only guaranteed to be there until the end of the month, so move quick and leave the stress, and husbands, at home.
