Naturally Young at Heart’s Sweet-As-Can-Be Kidswear

Treat yourself—and your little one.

So you’re looking for a little something to satisfy your sweet tooth? You’ve come to the right place! Our ice cream truck is chock-full of treats: We’ve got fudgecicles, orange dream bars, lemon-lime paletas, chocolate-dipped bonbons, frozen bananas—what’s that? You were thinking more along the lines of sweet chic? I think we have just the thing for you.

Take a peek into the yummy-looking kids’ clothes from Naturally Young At Heart’s Spring 2016 lookbook, which has a perfectly appropriate popsicle-stand theme, dreamed up by designer and mom Giselle Santana. Santana has been whipping up onesies, teeny tees and other wee pieces for a couple of years now, building her fledgling business, working on collabs, and managing wholesale orders. At the end of last year, however, she took a break in order to mix up some special pieces with her own little tot.

You can thank her three-year-old, who helped with this spring collection’s recipes for stylishness: She helped pick out the best kid-approved prints, whimsical little morsels featuring funky pineapples, cheery ice-cream cones and dreamy unicorns. Scoop a couple up for little gals-on-the-go—the halter-neck tie and onesie style is a great no-fuss uniform for when your mini-me goes adventuring around the yard. Santana also serves up dear little patterned shorts (sharks or boom boxes, anyone?) and cheeky graphic tees with ‘Mister aloha’ and ‘Kolohe all the day’ in chipper fonts across the front.

Sweet dreams are definitely made of these.
