Mobile Hotspots

Lei ChicYou're starving and you've got 15 minutes between meetings to get lunch and pound it. But the thought of a greasy McMeal makes you want to McHurl. Instead, hit the streets and check out one of Honolulu’s choice lunch wagons that deliver big variety and amazing quality (despite tiny digs) for itty-bity prices. They’re fast, so you can keep on truckin’.

Dine in a Dash
The Eats: No one will believe a box filled with prime rib, oysters on the half shell, or beef Wellington is from a truck. That’s because Simply Ono has elevated street food to an inexpensive art form. Weekly specials vary, but you can stop by today for the furikake-crusted swordfish or the homemade lasagna, and Wednesday for the French Dip made with leg of lamb.
The Streets: Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., alongside the Frank Fasi Municipal building on Alapai Street (between King Street and Beretania Street)
The Deets: Weekly menu posted on their website, here.
