Mililani’s Newest Townhomes
Sixty Parkside, Mililani’s newest gated townhome community, is ideal for those looking to buy new in the low- to mid-$300,000 range. In town, that price might get you a cramped studio or tiny one-bedroom, but at Sixty Parkside each of the 48 townhouses has 1,200 square feet, with three bedrooms and two baths. Not bad at that price point.
Buyers can choose from three different interior designs (the difference is largely in the cabinetry and flooring finishes) and two floor plans (the layouts are flipped). The townhomes have open floor plans with kitchens that flow directly into the dining and living rooms. Vaulted ceilings in the top-floor townhomes make those units feel particularly spacious. Flooring is a mix of ceramic tile and wood laminate, kitchens are equipped with stainless-steel appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, range/oven, etc.) and each unit comes with a stacked washer/dryer and split air conditioning.
As for outdoor spaces, upper-floor townhomes each have their own lanai, while ground floor units have small courtyards—ideal hangouts for Fido and friends (the community is pet-friendly). And if you need more room to roam, Melemanu Park is just across the street.
Other deets: The building has two elevators (hooray, no schlepping groceries up three floors!), and each unit has two parking stalls (one covered, one open). The first building is nearing completion.
Money talk: The units currently in MLS are listed between $302,000 and $324,000 fee simple. Monthly maintenance fees are listed at $300, and include sewer and water.
