Mililani Turning Point

In 1968, Castle and Cooke sold the first home in its master-planned Mililani community and in November 2008, it sold the last. “It was always envisioned to be a community of 3,500 acres and 16,000 homes,” says Castle and Cooke president Harry Saunders. Now that all 16,000 homes are sold, what’s next?

Commercial developments.

Saunders says there are three parcels in Mililani Mauka that Castle and Cooke plans to develop: two at the entrance to Mililani Mauka and the third on the corner of Lehiwa Drive and Meheula Parkway. Castle and Cooke plans for these areas to include offices, a drug store and other retail establishments.
