Mangoes at the Moana Celebrates a Sweet 10 Years

Mango season continues with Mangoes at the Moana at the Moana Surfrider, a stylish soirée featuring all things mango on Saturday, July 14, noon to 9 p.m. Enjoy a lineup of events centered around Hawai‘i’s favorite summer fruit, kicking off at the Banyan Courtyard with the Mango Grove Market, a showcase of local arts and crafts, gifts, treats and more. Mango growing seminars, cooking demonstrations, keiki activities and the Best Mango Contest will be held throughout the day.
For the first time this year, Mangoes at the Moana festivities continue into the evening with a special Mangolicious Sunset Reception to mark its 10th anniversary. The reception takes place starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Diamond Head Lawn and features the Chef Throwdown, a head-to-head mango battle between chefs from The Pig & The Lady, Koko Head Café, MW Restaurant, 12th Avenue Grill, Hy’s Steakhouse and more. Mixologists from Southern Wines & Spirits, Azure Restaurant and Splash Bar will keep the libations going into the evening.
