Manaola Debuts Exclusive Saks Fifth Ave. Collection with a Glam Runway Show

And we’re crazy for all the fresh, springy blush, cream and blue hues.

Designer Manaola Yap and team pulled out all the stops for a luxe fashion show fundraiser at Saks Fifth Avenue on Saturday, March 10. A celebration of the local label’s recent partnership with the department store, the presentation showcased Manaola’s new Resort 2018 collection, available exclusively at Saks’ Honolulu location.

As a bonus, the audience was also treated to a special showing of Kōlani, the stunning black-and-gold collection inspired by Yap’s vision of modern-day ali‘i fashions that drew raves at HONOLULU Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week.

Proceeds benefit Bishop Museum’s Ethnology and Archives Department, along with The Hale Kua Project, Yap’s new philanthropic project with Kamehameha Schools which offers youth mentorship and promotes indigenous entrepreneurship in future generations.
