On July 19, 2025, AccesSurf hosted its premier fundraiser, Sunset at Sunhala, at a breathtaking oceanfront estate in Kahala. This intimate evening brought together Hawai‘i’s ocean advocates, community leaders, and supporters for a shared purpose: to celebrate inclusion and expand access to adaptive water programs.

Guests enjoyed a curated dining experience from celebrated chefs Jason Peel, Beverly Luk (Nami Kaze), Mark Noguchi, and Nick Erker (Pili Group), paired with live music by Simple Souls and the sunset backdrop of Kahala’s shoreline.

The event honored George Pasha and Zane Kekoa Schweitzer with the 2025 Ocean of Possibilities Award for their powerful contributions to ocean access and community impact.

Mahalo to all who made the evening possible and to those who believe in the healing power of the ocean. Your support directly fuels AccesSurf’s year-round programs for children, adults, and veterans with disabilities.

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors and partners:
RNDC, Elite Parking, Pili Group, Nami Kaze, Hawaii State Federal CU, Southwest, Honolulu Magazine, OnStage Hawaii, Albert C Kobayashi Inc , Cole-Brooks Construction, The Orchid Lei Company, and Under My Umbrella.

Together, we’re making the ocean more accessible for everyone.
