When it comes to keeping your energy levels set to Zen, we know you're a real soul survivor. We could probably chakra it up to your regular schedule of yoga, positive thinking and meditation, but it never hurts to throw something a bit more fashionable into your mix of mindfulness.
Take a style tip from soul sister Noelani Love, the woman behind Hale‘iwa-based boutique-and-yoga-studio hybrid and designer of Noelani Jewelry. For her latest collection, Akasha, she's reaching into her yogi roots and the results have got us going “Om, yeah.” Each piece in the lineup of boho necklaces, dangling earrings and earthy, raw-cut pendants is named after a Sanskrit word that embodies one of the principles of yoga. For example, the Jiva necklace refers to the term for a living, life-force-imbued creature, while the Jala earrings’ name is a nod to a cleansing practice. Love produces all her pieces in-house with a team of artisans, using crystals and stones that are said to have healing properties. Plus, a sturdy construction means these baubles are A-OK for swim and surf sessions.
You'll love the style these pretty, organic pieces add to your look, thanks to soft, au naturel rose and teal shades, long beaded strands and playful tassels. Pair them with summer sundresses, a bikini top or even Love’s upcoming ‘ukulele mantra album, which features songs also inspired by Sanskrit mantras.
Pretty things and positive energy? Our spirits are already lifting.
