I was poking around Trulia.com for new listings, as I do almost every day, and came upon what looked like a real deal. For $210,000, I could get home that had seven bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms. Was this a typo?
Turns out, it's the correct price, but I was looking at a rental, not a sales listing. That's right, for just $210K a month, you can live in this executive estate at the base of Diamond Head. (Click here for details.)
It's named Banyan Hale for the property's large banyan tree, which is decorated with lights to provide a romantic setting. The expansive 11,500-square-foot oceanfront estate features manicured tropical gardens, a spacious yard with a fire pit, and a pool and spa.
The main house includes a gym, a private office, a game room, luxury interior design and furnishings and a huge kitchen fit for professional chefs. (Chefs not included.)
As with most luxury rentals, the minimum stay is for one month. It can easily sleep 10 to 12 people or the entire Chang family, including cousins.
Perhaps Lindsay Lohan might consider this place next time she makes her Oahu escape—then she won't have to worry about where she leaves her purse.
