Your to-do list is so long it’s starting to run off the page—and, trust us, we can commiserate. HONOLULU Fashion Week is just around the corner, and with carting around elegant ensembles, finding the fiercest models and showing our international guests Island-style aloha, lists are running our lives right now.
There’s one long list, though, that we can’t get enough of: the list of our designer lineup, ready to send their looks down the runway come Friday and Saturday. Not to give you list envy, but here’s a sneak peek at the troupe of tastemaking creations that will be stomping through our Get Out! and Live Aloha shows this weekend. You’ll recognize a lot of these must-have local apparel brands, such as Roberta Oaks, Allison Izu and Salvage Public, as well as the bling: You’ll see jewelry by Tiffany Chou, a.wattz dezigns, Bliss Lau and more. But, psst: many of these pieces have been made just for the runway, a haute twist on these brands’ designers’ already top-notch style.
Now that is one list we’d like to hit.
Come ogle the goods this weekend at the Hawai‘i Convention Center at the Live Aloha show, happening Friday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m., and Get Out! show on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. Seats are selling out fast, but first-come, first-served standing room is available for free, so head over early.
