Fans of Hawai‘i’s own Little League Baseball World Series champs can cheer and have a chance to meet the team on Saturday, Sept. 8.

The City and State worked together to plan the Championship Parade and Celebration for next weekend. The Honolulu All Stars captured the state’s third title in 13 years, meaning local teams took home three of the eight wins by American teams during the same time period.

The celebration will include a parade as well as festivities at Honolulu Hale. Here are the details:

  • The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at Tamarind Park.
  • The route will go down S. King St. and end at Honolulu Hale.
  • Until noon, families can listen to live music by Josh Tatofi and Kapena, have free refreshments (the city did not specify what, but McDonalds, Murphy’s Bar and Grill and Nalo Snow were listed among the sponsors of the event) and meet the team.
  • Free parking will be available in the municipal parking lot.
  • Drivers should be aware that streets along the parade route will  close ahead of the event. The two left lanes of Bishop Street will close at 8 a.m. South King Street between Bishop Street and Honolulu Hale will close at 9:30 a.m.
