Spring K. Golden
A successful skincare treatment is about more than removing a lesion; it’s about protecting a patient’s health while preserving what makes them feel like themselves. For Dr. Spring K. Golden, that balance of precision and compassion defines her practice at Golden Dermatology.
Born and raised on O‘ahu, Dr. Golden attended Punahou School before earning her undergraduate degree at Stanford University and her medical degree at the John A. Burns School of Medicine. She completed her dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery training at Oregon Health & Science University and is double board-certified in Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery.
Mohs surgery is a highly specialized, meticulous technique that removes skin cancer in thin layers, examining each under a microscope until no cancer cells remain. This precise approach allows Dr. Golden to fully treat the cancer while sparing as much healthy tissue as possible, which is particularly critical for delicate areas such as the face.
Dr. Golden prioritizes individualized care to ensure patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options, and is committed to elevating dermatologic care for Hawai‘i’s community.
