Sonny J.H. Wong

Dr. Sonny J.H. Wong, MD, FACC, RPHS, is a diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine, and has board certifications in Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and has more than 30 years of clinical experience practicing heart care.

Dr. Wong has been in Hawai‘i since 1994 and is the founder and lead physician of Windward Heart and Vein, which has new locations in Honolulu, Waipahu and Maui and offers the highest quality vein therapies, heart and aesthetic treatments using state-of-the-art technology. Each facility offers in-office cardiac and vascular ultrasounds, such as echo cardiograms, stress tests and vascular scans, which allow Dr. Wong to get faster results to help treat cardiac and vascular issues. New treatments such as home blood pressure monitoring kits and implantable loop recorders to monitor irregular heartbeats, allow Dr. Wong to carefully manage and monitor patients’ programs and provide even more of the excellent, quality care they deserve.

Conveniently located in Kailua, Waipahu and Honolulu, with two brand-new Maui locations in Kihei and Kula. All practice locations accept Medicare, HMSA and commercial health insurance plans, and has an experienced office and billing staff to assist you with all questions about treatment and billing. All treatments available at all practice locations are performed in-office as outpatient procedures.
