What: Now that the rain has finally stopped (knock on wood), you're ready to get back to the beach. San Lorenzo Kailua's annual blowout sale is the biggest one the bikini shop has, with everything on sale up to 80 percent off. What: While everyone's packing into the Irish bars like sardines, spend your St. Patrick's Day at Royal Hawaiian Center. Costume Party
What: It's UH Manoa's Costume Museum Week, with the highlight happening this Sunday: an exhibition of donated garments with the theme "Grand Affair." Students from the Costume Museum Management class selected one-of-a-kind pieces from the 1940s–1980s, such as this pink 1950s sleveless dress— designed locally by Maria Benson and made of organza with gold embroidery with an acetate lining. The event also features a gift shop with crafts, clothing, fashion books and tote bags for sale.
