What a Teas
What: Moana Surfrider executive chef Ryan Loo just revamped The Veranda's entire afternoon tea menu to include unique scrumptious bites like a goat cheese gougere, or savory pastry puff, filled with prosciutto, red onion and arugula, and a chili garlic chicken and pork pate sandwich garnished with slivers of pickled hearts of palm, papaya and radish. For the sweet tooth: start with the buttery crisp macadamia nut nougatine cookie in the new dessert offerings.
When: Daily, noon-3 p.m.
Where: 2365 Kalakaua Ave.

When: Tomorrow and Saturday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
Where: Punahou School
Details: Carnival gear will be available at the merchandise tent. Map and more info here.
