Lei Chic's Greatest Hits of September

Relive some of our favorite stories from the month, from the burgundy lip trend to vibrant dyed tees from Salvage Public.

Intricate Calligraphy Cards from Island Penman
Calligrapher and artist Chae Ho Lee of Island Penman creates romantic, Hawaiian, flora-inspired designs with a vintage aesthetic reminiscent of English round-hand scripts and botanical prints from the 18th century. Check out Lee's Instagram for more work, including his cool banana art, where he uses a pin to prick the fruit's skin to create intricate designs through a browning reaction.

All-Natural Dyed Tees from Salvage Public
We love everything about the new Salvage Public series. Not only does it have the sleek, minimalist surf-inspired designs we've come to expect from the brand, but the new rich, deep blue pigments are impossibly gorgeous and created using all-natural, Hawaii-sourced indigo. Plus, we want to live in their lookbook pics. Check out more beautifully blue images from the brand's lookbook on the Salvage Public Instagram.

Kauai-Based, Organic Coffee Scrubs for Rejuvenating Skin
The women behind 'Ili scrubs only use organic, local ingredients in their coffee-based skincare scrub, which comes in Ginger and Lavender Mint. It's a refreshing, all-natural way to target the cellulite, blemishes, eczema, shingles and scars. Love it? The 'Ili team is now looking for bloggers to collab with. Email sales@iliscrub.com with info about yourself and your blog to get involved.
