The University of Hawaii at Manoa graduate assembles a vibrant mix of feathers, sourced as much as possible from local pet owners, and carefully layers them so each piece resembles a real bird's wing. The result: stunningly rich rainbow-colored combos of regal peacock greens, earthy reds and desert golds that, believe it or not, are all totally natural.

Young has a small Etsy shop, but does most of her business on Facebook through custom orders.
