Sneak Peek: Honolulu Has Its First Reformation Boutique

The new Ala Moana shop is brimming with the eco-friendly brand’s most-popular styles, plus a breezy collection tailor-made for Hawai‘i dressing.

Hallelujah! The fashion gods must have heard my pleas because, finally, Honolulu has its first Reformation boutique.

The California-based womenswear brand—beloved by celebs such as Hailey Bieber, J.Lo (is she J.Aff now?) and Emily Ratajkowski for its feminine, flirtatious silhouettes and dedication to sustainability—now has a sparkling 1,428-square-foot spot in Ala Moana Center.

If you’re not familiar with what the label offers, just imagine every outfit you would need for a weekend brunch, a GNO on the town, a vacation spent traipsing through the south of France or bragging rights as the best-dressed wedding guest—then imagine them all in one shop. Pretty sweet right?

Though not as big as some of Reformation’s other locations, the Honolulu boutique still boasts all of the brand’s signatures, including its floral-print tank dresses, two-piece sets and comfy-cute knitwear.

In fact, our shop is stocked with more than the normal share of resortwear—think linen and denim shorts, sandals and breezy tops designed to keep you chic in the heat. And it carries bridal and event styles not offered everywhere else.

While there, I suggest you check out the new Ref to Go assortment, inspired by summer travels. Its slinky, sunset-hued Daytona slip dress will easily transition to a Hawai‘i fall.

The Mylie Set’s boxy cropped tank, done in fruit punch-pink with buttoned sides, can be endlessly mixed with high-waist pants and jeans. And the Karina top, featuring puff sleeves and two twists at the front in airy linen, is what summer wardrobe dreams are made of. I’ll be snagging one in every color!
