Highest Bidder Can Buy Big Island Mini-Resort with Helipad and Waterfall
Water Falling Estate to be auctioned this weekend.

If you're ready to star in your own luxury reality show on the Hamakua Coast, you may want to sign up for this weekend's auction for a house that comes complete with helipad, 9-hole golf course and natural waterfall. This Saturday, March 22, the Water Falling Estate in Ninole on Hawaii Island goes up for auction. If you're headed there, this may be your chance to buy an amazing dream home with some over-the-top features. Originally offered at $26.5 million, the auction without reserve of one of the most luxurious homes on the island is a pretty sweet opportunity for interested buyers. ("Without reserve" is an auction term for a sale process in which the item is sold to the highest bidder, without regard to a minimum price.)
Set on a breathtaking cliff along the Hamakua Coast, this former macadamia nut plantation is actually more of a private resort than a house. The 10,000-square-foot home sits on a 9.44-acre estate, offering five bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, an Olympic infinity pool, nine-tee golf course, paved running track, and 450-seat tennis stadium and basketball court. If that is not enough, there's even a two-story waterslide for the kids.
If you drive, the garage is fully furnished and can fit four cars. And if you don't want to drive, the house has a helipad (with three landing pads) for those that want to arrive directly by air.
To get around the house, just catch the three-story pneumatic elevator.
One of the great things about living on Hawaii Island is the ability to enjoy a lot of natural beauty, much more than you would in a metropolis like Honolulu. The home has panoramic views of both the Pacific Ocean, and a triple decker waterfall. In fact, there are views from each room of natural waterfalls.
Why would anyone want to sell this fabulous estate instead of living there? Apparently the owner/developer specializes in building dream homes. Period.
Concierge Auctions will host the auction for the Water Falling Estate and says there has been a lot of interest in the home already. For more information on the home and how to bid in the auction, click here.
