HGTV’s reality series 'Hawaii Life' seeking families for second season

HGTV’s Hawaii Life marathon starts at 1 p.m.
If you haven’t yet watched HGTV’s reality series Hawaii Life, you’ll have a chance to catch up today.
The cable network began airing the first season of the show in January and today will host a 12-show marathon. The episodes follow real estate agents who help clients move to Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island. The series features brokers from Hawaii Life Real Estate, a tech-savvy agency that uses online marketing strategies to help clients buy and sell homes.
If you like what you see, Hawaii Life is currently casting for its second season and is looking for couples or families who want to buy homes on one of the Hawaii Islands.
HGTV will air 12 half-hour episodes beginning at 1 p.m. Digital cable and satellite TV subscribers may be able to watch it at 7 a.m. HST, too, so check your local listings.
Here's the line-up:
- 1 p.m.: A California family of four tours properties on Puako Beach Drive on the Big Island of Hawaii.
- 1:30 p.m.: A couple from Washington state looks at homes near Kona that will allow them to continue their hobby of riding motorcycles along the coast.
- 2 p.m.: A Colorado family that wants to escape harsh winters looks at three different properties on Kauai.
- 2:30 A job offer prompts an Indianapolis couple to move to Kauai.
- 3 p.m.: A family of eight relocates from Alaska to Kauai.
- 3:30 p.m.: New parents look for a home on Oahu that includes a separate ohana unit, or mother-in-law suite.
- 4 p.m.: Newlyweds hunt for an apartment in downtown Honolulu.
- 4:30 p.m.: A former pro-surfer looks at what it will take to move his family into an Oahu home near the beach.
- 5 p.m.: A woman searches for a plantation-style home on Maui.
- 5:30 p.m.: A family of four looks to upgrade from a one-bedroom condo to a home on the Big Island.
- 6 p.m.: A Tokyo-based family of four wants to relocate to the Big Island.
- 6:30 p.m.: A Washington couple explores three unique properties on Maui.
