Hear the sounds of Hawaii's animals

Per The Los Angeles Times, "The world’s largest and oldest archive of nature’s sounds is now accessible online, a digital treasure chest of bird songs and mammal calls familiar and exotic. It took the Cornell Lab of Ornithology a dozen years to fully digitize its Macaulay Library audio archives, which date back to 1929."

The Macaulay Library search function is organized by species. I typed in "Hawaiian" just to try to quickly get to some Island critters and that alone turned up 83 recordings of Hawaiian monk seals, five of the Hawaiian crow, one of the Hawaiian duck, nine of the Hawaiian goose. There are lots of videos, too, and no doubt much more for folks who know the names of our indigenous species.
