Hawai‘i Restaurant Association’s 9th Annual Hall of Fame

(Sponsored) The association is here to help Hawai‘i’s restaurant, food-service and hospitality industries.

The Hawai‘i Restaurant Association (HRA) is a nonprofit trade organization that represents the state’s restaurants, food-service businesses and hospitality and tourism industries. Since 2007, the HRA has recognized Hawai‘i’s food champions with an annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony that honors their contributions to the industry.

Restaurants play a large and significant role in the Hawai‘i economy. The size of the restaurants and the companies that serve them range from small mom-and-pop businesses to large Mainland-based companies. All of them are important to us and we value the standards set by this year’s inductees. The HRA Hall of Fame is where these industry pioneers—the restaurateurs, the hoteliers, the food wholesalers and wine sellers—take their place of honor.

This year, the Hall of Fame gains nine more inductees, from one of the Island’s most venerated restaurateurs to the man who operates one of the state’s largest liquor wholesale companies. We gladly welcome them all.
