Haunted House Makeup Artist from Hawaii Plantation Village
|
Event organizer and makeup artist Noa Laporga puts some finishing touches on a silicone doll mask worn by actor Angelina Khan, in preparation for this year’s haunted house at Hawaii’s Plantation Village. The production, which features more than 60 trained actors in custom costumes, masks and makeup, trades on the multitude of ghost stories that surround the plantation’s long history. “It’s a scary place already,” Laporga says. “We just turn out the lights and go with it.” He expects more than 15,000 people to come through the Haunted Plantation over its nine-night run. Tickets are sold at the door, more information at hawaiihauntedplantation.com, or call 677-0110.
