Hale Aina Ohana Golf Tournament

The Hale Aina Ohana will host its annual golf tournament on Monday, April 19^th at Kapolei Golf Course.

Think you can out putt Alan Wong? Or out drive Sam Choy? Or just want to have a good time trying? Then the Hale Aina Golf Tournament is the golf tournament for you!

The tournament is conducted in a three person scramble format. It includes Hole-in-One, closest to the pin, putting and long drive contests.

But what makes this tournament exceptional is the sumptuous awards reception after all the golf is done. Some of Hawaii’s finest restaurants participate in this tournament and serve up delectable samplings of their award-winning cuisine. Past participants include:

While on the course, golfers are treated to fine spirits, wines and beers from Better Brands. As you can imagine, your tee shots can get increasingly interesting after each hole.

The Hale Aina Ohana provides culinary students access to cutting-edge knowledge and techniques through educational opportunities and programs featuring visiting chefs. The ‘Ohana supports culinary professionals sharing their knowledge with Island students.

Having played in the tournament the past two years, I can easily say it’s one of the best times I’ve had on a golf course! The event organizers and sponsors do a tremendous job executing this tournament filled with some of the most delicious food, fine beverages and exceptional prizes.

Don’t play golf? You can sign up to for the banquet only and enjoy the offerings for $50 per person ($52.35 total with tax included).
