Now based out of L.A., local designer Misa Hamamoto was inspired by a beautiful lauhala gift box sent from her friends back home. The collection mimics the traditional interlacing technique used to make lauhala, entwining hand-sculpted metal strips with thin wisps of 14K gold-fill and sterling silver chain.
