Grant the Wishes of These Hawai‘i Children by Participating in Jingle Rock Run 2015

Nearly 4,000 people will be turning their steps into wishes for Hawai‘i’s children at this year’s Jingle Rock Run. The friendly (non-competitive) 5K walk-or-run event welcomes families, friends and even pets to celebrate the holidays at ‘Iolani Palace for an illuminated, festive walk (or run) through the Honolulu City Lights as the sunsets.
An hour before the downtown stroll begins, keiki ages 12 and under can participate in a Keiki Sprint, a half-mile sprint grouped by age, where each will receive a medal. All are invited to join the festivities the festivities on ‘Iolani Palace grounds, where there will be live music by favorite local artists, food booths, face painting, costume contests and more.

Make-A-Wish Hawai‘i aims to grant the wish of every Hawai‘i child battling a life-threatening medical condition, to enrich the human experience with the hope, strength and joy struggling families need to endure the unimaginable hardships these conditions can bring. Jingle Rock Run is one of largest, wish-granting community events hosted by the foundation, and is more like a celebration of wishes than a typical fundraiser.

This year’s Jingle Rock Run aims to raise the funds necessary to grant 25 wishes of the 109 Hawai‘i children across the islands who are awaiting their wish experience today.
Registration starts at $35 per individual with discounts for keiki, military and even pets.
