Goodwill Goes GLAM! kicks off on Thursday, July 19, with a gala, VIP presale and one of the most anticipated fashion shows in Hawai‘i. Local designer-business owners Allison Izu Song of Allison Izu and Summer Shiigi of Ten Tomorrow take charge for this year’s Goodwill Goes GLAM! Fashion Show, themed “The Fashion Edit,” as the first female lead producers in GLAM! history. Guests attending the gala will be treated to a three-course menu created by chef Chai Chaowasaree, owner and chef of Chef Chai at Pacifica Honolulu, plus first access to the best that Goodwill Hawai‘i has to offer. The sale continues Friday through Sunday with free admission to the public.

Each year, Goodwill Hawai‘i uses proceeds from Goodwill Goes GLAM! to continue its mission to help the state’s disadvantaged population find employment, offering them the services and tools they need to become self-sufficient and realize their potentials. With over $430,000 raised in 2017, Goodwill Hawai‘i was able to assist more than 12,000 individuals with job training, counseling and placement programs statewide.
