Give Big Hawai‘i is Back to Kickstart the Giving Spirit
(Partner Content) Now through Dec. 31, 2025, give back to our community in a big—and super convenient—way with our online fundraiser.
The holidays are always filled with the big G’s: good food, gifts and the giving spirit. Giving back to our community can spread the holiday cheer and create a bigger impact for an aloha filled season.
HONOLULU Magazine, in conjunction with Aloha United Way, is proud to present the sixth annual Give Big Hawai‘i, an online fundraising platform that offers a convenient way for people to quickly and easily give to nonprofits close to their heart through a single platform. This year, we have chosen to continue the newly designed Give Big Hawai‘i—a six-week charitable event that lets you donate when you can.
Visit givebighawaii.com and select any number of local nonprofits to support and kickstart the giving season. Hit the gift basket icon on the top right corner to make a donation to them all in one simple, easy step. Anyone with a credit card and access to the internet will be able to donate and, with more than 100 local nonprofits to choose from, you’ll be able to easily support the causes close to your heart and make a real difference in the community.
Mahalo to Aloha United Way for their support of the Give Big Hawai‘i project. The work of Aloha United Way.

Aloha United Way’s 211 Resource Helpline is a vital lifeline for our community, answering more than 47,000 requests each year from individuals and families seeking essential support—from food and housing assistance to mental health care and more. Available daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. by call, text, or chat, 211 ensures people can reach help when it’s most convenient, even outside regular business hours. However, without sufficient funding, the helpline may be forced to reduce its hours, limiting access to critical services when our neighbors need them most. Your donation keeps 211 strong, connecting people to more than 1,300 local agencies and 4,000 programs, and providing interpretation in over 180 languages so everyone can receive help in the language they understand best. Please donate today to ensure 211 remains a reliable, accessible resource for our entire community and helps build a stronger, more resilient Hawai‘i.
Help us create a thriving future for Hawai‘i.
