Recently, the Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Hawaii restaurants and Hale Aina Award-winners Highway Inn, Nico’s on Pier 38 and Murphy’s Bar and Grill as well as Hank’s Haute Dog’s, Germaine’s Luau and Poke Stop.
This time Chef Robert Irvine of Dinner: Impossible is back in Hawaii on a mission to feed the cast and crew of the hit ABC series LOST.
Robert is “stranded” on the deserted LOST location set of Papailoa Beach in Haleiwa. Using food found on the beach and minimal cooking supplies, and with the help of Executive Chef Jon Matsubara of Azure Restaurant at The Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Robert must figure out a way to quickly create a delicious meal for 90 hungry Hollywood types before his time runs out.
The Food Network is on Oceanic Cable 60/Digital 321. The show will re-air on May 20th and 22nd. Check your listings for specific times.
