Flood Cleanup

In this March 19 photo, the banks of Morita Reservoir in Kilauea, Kaua’i reveal the aftermath of heavy rains. Five days earlier, the upstream failure of Kaloko Reservoir unloosed a destructive flood of an estimated 420 million gallons of water, killing seven. March’s rains also damaged homes, farms and businesses across the state. If you’d like to help, consider a donation to one of these organizations, which could help us during the next emergency.
