Fine Artist Brad Forsythe’s Abstract iPhone Cases

These edgy cases are also ecofriendly.

Beeeeep.

Hi, you’ve reached Lei Chic. We can’t come to the phone right now, because we’re busy fixing up our phones into fine-art masterpieces. We used to call it in when it came to blinging our mobiles, but since we heard the story of Maui-based artist Brad Forsythe’s award-nominated collaboration with sustainable, Italian iPhone case company iNature, we knew it was time to dial it up in the design department.

Oh, and if you’ve got hang-ups about cliché tropical décor (we get it, not everyone loves the pineapple trend as much as we do), not to worry. Forsythe’s super-cool, abstract, mixed-media paintings are punky, modernist creations that will fit effortlessly into your contemporary ensemble. Envision spunky color palettes of radiant orchid, orange and cerulean, accented with edgy strokes of black. Forsythe draws inspiration for all his pieces from the vibrant land and seascapes of his home island of Maui, so expect bright, vivid nature tones on these cases, and on some of his product collabs from the past (that include everything from surfboards to scarves).

We’re not the only ones that these cases are doing a number on. These babies only came out in February, but they’ve already been selected as finalists in the 8th Annual International Design Awards in the Communications Technology New Product category.

Now that’s something to talk about.
