Acacia
Welcome home, Acacia. The Maui-based swimwear brand known for its chic styles and poppy designs just opened its first store in Pā‘ia—the birthplace of owner Naomi Newirth. Mauians will love the fact that the flagship will carry exclusive-to-the-shop items and be the place that all collections will land first. Lucky beaches.

Banks Journal
Banks Journal, a contemporary coastal menswear label, recently dropped into Downtown Honolulu. Making waves are aloha shirts, geo-patterned surf trunks and collab tees with artist Ty Williams. Look for a small set of women’s fashions and beach necessities to roll in every once in a while.

Madewell
First, Anthro. Then, Zara. Next (sound the airhorns), Madewell opened its doors. The Ala Moana location, next to Banana Republic on mall level, will cater to women only—sorry, not sorry. Now, snagging the brand’s always-on-trend basics, cool-blue denims or exclusive collabs will take less than five business days.
