1. Ar, Matey!
Pick up a pirate queen costume ($45), a Capt. Hook get-up ($65) or choose from thousands of other costume combinations at The Costume Closet. Purchase or rent wigs, hand-made masquerade masks, makeup and accessories.

3. Can-Can
All of DHT’s costume rentals are first showcased in its productions. Pictured below is the “napkin” costume ($75) from this year’s Beauty and the Beast. For the dress alone, ask for the “can-can.”

2. Aladdin
Thousands of one-of-a-kind costumes are available at Diamond Head Theatre (DHT). Rentals start at $15 for accessories and run up to $75 for a standard costume (pictured above: $40).

4. Roarin’ ’30s
Pimps and gangsters ($60) are popular throughout the years: Get this zoot suit from DHT. This crazy yellow costume originated as a bird in a Dr. Seuss production, but doubles as a flapper ($55).
